As a wedding photographer, I know very well how important the bride/groom and vendor relationship is. Couples spend countless hours planning their big day and ultimately turn over all control of executing those dreams to complete strangers. That’s why being confident in the team you choose is so important.
Well, believe it or not, if you were to ask any seasoned Raleigh Wedding Photographer, they would tell you that it is equally important that their couples are just as good of a fit for them and their brand as they are for that couple. This is why I have a first date with all my couples before they book, and treat them to a cupcake and coffee or cocktail.
I feel that aligning expectations from the very beginning is crucially important. Choosing a wedding photographer is more than do you like their style and do they fit in your budget. I, for one, like to know that I am comfortable shooting in the setting your wedding will take place and that you understand why an engagement shoot with me before your wedding is so important. And most importantly, that we like and trust each other. Isn’t that so important? Because after its all said and done, we will be working together to create one of the only tangible takeaways from your wedding day.
So, if you are currently looking for a Raleigh Wedding Photographer, I would love to meet you over at my favorite local cupcake boutique The Cupcake Shoppe and chat about your love story over my favorite cupcake flavor Pretty in Pink or another of their yummy treats and a cup of Joe. It’s my treat and I promise we’ll have a great time talking about your wedding, how you met that perfect partner, and your dog (or cat). And even if you don’t choose me as your wedding photographer (or I don’t choose you as a client) we will always have that 30 or so minutes chatting like old friends over a delicious cupcake.
