When Casey and Wayne contacted me to photograph their Wrightsville Beach wedding in August 2016, I was tickled pink! I absolutely LOVE the North Carolina Crystal Coast and there is something so magical about a beach wedding!
Engagement sessions are part of all of my wedding photography packages, but sometimes, especially with my out of town couples, scheduling these sessions can be challenging. With the busy schedules that most of my couples have, sometimes, it just doesn’t work out. It was beginning to look like this would be the case for Casey and Wayne. Between Casey’s limited availability due to Nursing school during the week and Wayne’s weekends as a rugby coach, it didn’t seem likely that I would get to work with them before the wedding.
So, when I found out that Casey’s sister (also an Images by Amber Robinson client) was having her baby shower in Raleigh and Casey would be there, I seized the moment and we somehow managed to sneak away for a few hours the day after the shower to get that Engagement session done.
We went to one of my favorite places in Raleigh, The North Carolina Museum of Art and strolled the grounds. It was perfect and I am looking forward to their beautiful beach wedding later this year.
