When one of my summer brides tagged me in a post on a local wedding group by a newly engaged bride looking for a wedding photographer, I was honored to be recommended, and when I discovered that not only was I available on her date, but that her wedding was taking place at one of the hippest spots in downtown Raleigh, I just knew I needed to book this wedding! I corresponded with Annie (a fellow Raleigh native) for several days detailing my shooting style, prices, and approach to wedding photography, and I was tickled pink when she send a text saying “Let’s do it!”
She and Andrew are tying the knot in June, so I knew we needed to move quickly on engagement photos. We started planning right away and settled on the beautiful rustic backdrop of a sunset shoot at E C Joyner park in Wake Forest, NC. I absolutely love this park because aside from the beautiful open green spaces, charming stone walls, and meticulously manicured courtyards, there are several historical barns on the parks property.
These two met online, and hit it off from day one. Six months later they got engaged and are planning an intimate downtown Raleigh wedding at The Architect Bar + Social House with their closest friends and family. They are the epitome of “When you know, you know”.
Andrew and Annie were perfect together (as you can see) and they brought along daughter Callie, who nearly stole the show!
I can’t wait to share their June wedding!!
